About the Journal
Human Rights in the Global South (HRGS) is a peer-reviewed journal managed by Serikat Pengajar HAM Indonesia (SEPAHAM Indonesia) or the Indonesian Consortium for Human Rights Lecturers. The focus and direction of this journal are related to the practice of respecting and protecting human rights in Global South countries and beyond. The use of Global South terminology in the journal's name follows the growing dynamics of developing countries concerning multi aspects. Thus, human rights issues that need to be covered are becoming more varied. This journal encourages the advancement of human rights discourse through scientific writings that are accessible in an online format without any charge and will be published twice a year, therefore the journal can be reached by the widest range of readers and accommodate as many human rights issues as possible.
