About the Journal

Human Rights in the Global South (HRGS) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal focusing on contemporary human rights issues arising in the Southern Hemisphere, managed by the Indonesian Association of Human Rights Lecturers or Serikat Pengajar Hak Asasi Manusia Indonesia (SEPAHAM Indonesia). This journal aspires to be a forum for disseminating interdisciplinary research in a wide range of human rights debates that intersect human rights, the Global South, and development.
